Hi all,
My brother has Marfans Syndrome. He was diagnosed when he was about 13 or 14. No-one else in our family has it, he was just the lucky one I guess.
He is now 29, 3 years ago he had to have open heart surgery to replace a part of his aorta and some valves. He recovered really well and you wouldn't know it now.
