I have my first specialist appointment in February with Professor Richmond Jeremy.

It'll be interesting to experience the difference in standards between the UK and Australia. Has anyone met with Professor Jeremy previously?

Ross, he is amazing and very passionate about what he does. You will find him very easy to talk to and for me, it was so nice to have someone understand and be interested in my condition and the physical and emotional ups and downs
He is a huge believer in " knowledge is power"
He will be coordinating my open heart surgery in March and I literally test him with my life

Well, I had my consultation at RPAH on Wednesday last week, starting with an ultrasound, then seeing Prof Jeremy. Completely agree with everything Deb said above - what a passionate, empathetic expert! I found him to be fantastic at articulating each aspect of what we spoke about (genetics, children, surgery options, and more) in ways I understood, and was happy to spend as much time discussing as need be.

Couldn't recommend him more!
